Pod Skills Training Resuming
January 4, 2021
Happy New Year!
I hope this update finds you and your families in good health and everyone is staying safe during this COVID-19 pandemic.
As of this writing we have permission and plans to restart our skills training program on January 11, 2021 and continue until the end of February. The pods are staying the same with the same coaches. You should hear from your coach soon.
All training will be at Oak Mesa Park in La Verne. Please be aware that due to neighborhood requirements the lights at this park shut down at 8 pm sharp.
We will continue to follow all CDC, State, LA County, City of La Verne, and AYSO guidelines. Please make sure that you are also, and please help us by explaining to your children the importance of following social distancing, wearing of masks, and using disinfectant on hands and equipment.
With all training now taking place at Oak Mesa Park, we will have a larger concentration of children and parents, so please, please, please follow all previously established guidelines and policies. https://www.ayso112.org/Default.aspx?tabid=957080
We are not accepting new registrations at this time.
We still do not know if and or when we will be allowed to scrimmage and play games. We continue to be hopeful that we will be allowed to play games sometime this year.
We also need more volunteers for our Regional Board. Please consider volunteering. It is truly enriching and does not take up much time.
We hope to see you soon on the pitch, and do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
Thank you all for your continued support of our AYSO programs.
