SKILLS EVALUATIONS
All un-rated and new players in divisions U8 and above are required to participate in a skills evaluation to help us balance the teams. On registration days, players should be prepared to participate in a quick, fun series of soccer drills to evaluate their skills, athletic ability and knowledge of the game. This is NOT a try-out as every child who registers will be placed on a team. This evaluation will be only be used to balance the teams.
Players who can’t make the registration try-outs, will need to attend a skills evaluation. Additional skills evaluations TBA
All players MUST be evaluated to be placed on a team.
Your child will be placed in a division based on their age.

VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION
AYSO is an all-volunteer organization. Please fill out the volunteer form and be generous with your time. All the children in our community will benefit from your involvement.
TEAM ASSIGNMENTS
Team assignments will be conducted in late July. Once AYSO has assigned a team to a coach, that coaches will contact each player. Please record the name and phone number of your coach and division director. DUE TO TIME CONSTRICTIONS, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESPOND TO PLAYERS WHO HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEIR COACHES BEFORE AUGUST 15.
Team assignments are final. Coaches cannot change player's team assignments and they cannot add players to their teams. If a player drops from your team, the registrar will place players from the waiting list. (Violation of this rule will result in immediate removal from any involvement in our soccer program.) Region 112 reserves the right to adjust teams to maintain team balance. Team assignments are based upon achieving balanced teams. It is not possible to place players according to school locations, extracurricular schedules, or car pool needs.
PLAYERS ON THE WAITING LIST
We will decide on the number of teams based on the number of players registered as of our final registration date. After our final registration, we will immediately begin accepting player applications for the waiting list. In some age divisions, we will be able to place players quickly to fill up the teams that are forming. In other age divisions, we may have to wait for an opening caused by a player withdrawal. Prior to team formation, players from the waiting list will be placed on a team in the order that they applied to the waiting list. After team formation, the player from the list that best keeps the teams balanced will be added. As soon as openings are available, we will contact players who have submitted an application and place them onto a team. If we are unable to place the child, the original check will be returned or destroyed.
