Policies

Mandatory 3/4 Rule

The Region 112 Board has decided that, barring extenuating circumstances, all players in divisions U14, U12, U10, and U8 MUST play at least 3/4 of the game!!  The Referee has the authority to correct the problem if a coach plays a player only 1/2 of the game, while others play 4 quarters. Any player playing 1/2 a game must have the prior consent of the Division Coordinator except in cases of:

injury
illness
late arrival
early departure
too many players on the team (15 or more players on a team in an 11-a-side division)
or extraordinary circumstances

Referee Scheduling System

Important Info!!!

You don't need to contact the ref staff to sign up.  Just sign yourself up at www.cgisports.com/ayso112/ref.cgi and then we will approve it.

On the form where it says "Badge" that is not your Coach Badge Number but your referee certification type (Basic, Regional, Area, etc.)

Our referees are encouraged to schedule their game assignments on-line.  Please sign up by Thursday of each week so our phone people can get to work filling the rest of the spaces.

The first step after you have been certified as a referee is to register with the system.  Go to the main login page and follow the instructions to register.  Once you have registered the administrator will review and approve the request.

Returning refs, this is an updated system so after you have logged in, check your new user profile and fill in the blanks that were not part of the old system.

Once you have your login you can go to the web site http://www.cgisports.com/ayso112/ref.cgi, log in, and select the game or games you want to work.  Note, that these registrations will be cross checked against game cards for referee points for divisions U10 and U12.  There are two weeks at a time visible in the system.  The game headers are colored blue and green for the two different weeks.  We have now started a "Frequently Asked Questions" to help you with the ref system.

If on-line doesn't fit your style, don't worry, we still will be making phone calls as well.  If you have any problems or questions e-mail the Web Administrator.
