There are plenty of resources available out there... Here are a few to check out. Have some you want to suggest, e-mail them to resources@ayso112.org
Each of the links below take you to another web site and will open in a new browser window
AYSO Help - www.aysohelp.org
There is a lot of forms and lesson plans for instructors on this site, but also a lot of good information including the Section Conference lesson plans and Coach Training Games.
AYSO Share - www.aysohelp.org
Not an official site maintained by the NTSC by one run by a dedicated volunteer and recommended by people at the national office. The contents are constantly changing so I don't know what you will find, but there is usually some good stuff there.
AYSO Main Web Site - www.soccer.org
On the AYSO Web Site under Coaches some of the things you will find are:
- "Teaching the Game To Kids" - A three page PDF file with good coaching information
- The "Coaching Certification Matrix" with more details than you probably want on all the AYSO coaching programs and training
-
Coaching Tips
- And suggested drills for U10, U8 and U6
Knowing the Laws of the Game is not just for the referees. As a coach, how can you coach your players how to play or respond to a situation if you don't know the rules? Here are some great resources.
